Mumbai, Oct 4: Mayuravarma Samskritika Pratistana held a symposium on the tradition of sage and Sanatana religion at Kannada welfare society auditorium, Ghatkoper east in the evening on October 1. Author S Nataraj inaugurated the symposium and spoke.

The symposium was presided over by G T Acharya. Kannada welfare society president Navin Shetty Innabalike was the chief guest.

Shanishwara Mandira Maulana compound chief priest Vidwan Santhosh Bhat Bakremara and Havyaka Sandesh monthly magazine editor advocate Amitha Bhagawath, the resource persons tabled the subject. Dr Sathish N Bangera, CA Sudhir R L Shetty and Agumbe Nataraj conducted discussions. Lalitha Prabhu Angadi introduced the book ‘Gandhiji Jadinalli Naukhaligondu Maru Yatre’.

G T Acharya felicitated Ramesh Kunder Shivajinagar and Rohini Ramesh couple.

Narayana Rao, G S Nayak, Arvind Ittagi, Ganesh Kumar and others were present. Shanta Laxmi Udupa and Malati Putran team sang songs.

Veena Shetty sang a prayer. Prathistana honorary chief secretary Vishwanath Dodmane welcomed and gave an introduction. Suresh Shetty Kananjar introduced the dignitaries and compered the programme. Savita Suresh Shetty proposed a vote of thanks.
