Mangalore, Aug 23: The inauguration of MBBS course 2011-2012 of Father Muller Medical College was held at FMMC Decennial Memorial Hall of Knowledge Centre here on Monday August 22 at 11 am.
Dr Sanjeeva Rai, former dean of the institution inaugurating the fresh batch said that medical field demands hard work and those who pursue this subject need to be service-oriented.
As many as 100 new students and their parents were present.
Fr Patrick Rodrigues, director, FMCI presided. Fr Denis D’Sa, administrator, FMMC, Dr J P Alva, Dean, FMMC Fr Richard Coelho, administrator, Vincent Saldanha, assistant administrator, Dr Prakash Shetty, vice dean were present on the dais. An interaction session between staff and the students and parents followed.
