Mangalore: Rainfall Recedes in Karnataka Coast

Mangalore, Aug 23: Rainfall in coastal Karnataka was lesser on Tuesday August 23. However, rainfall on the night of Monday August 22 made up for the deficit, which paved for a grand celebration of Vittal Pindi.

On an average, the coastal regions recorded two to three cm of rain. Northern districts of the state got good rains on Monday, with Koodalasangama getting seven cm of rain. Most of the places in coast experienced drizzle.

The meteorological department has predicted cloudy sky with occasional drizzles or thunder showers in the state’s coast. The prediction is valid till Wednesday morning.
