Kasargod, Aug 24: In an incident that occurred on Tuesday August 23 evening at Maniyampare bend near Sheni school in the taluk, a motor bike rider died after hitting a government bus.
It is gathered that Abdul Rahiman (17), son of the late Khader from Angadimogeru, was trying to avoid a pothole on the road when he was knocked down by the bus. He was a plus one student of Angadimogeru government higher secondary school. He was going to Perla after his classes in his motor bike. The bus belonging to Kerala State Road Transport Corporation was bound for Kumble from Puttur.
Because of the accident, traffic on Perla-Puttige road was paralyzed for about two hours. Rahiman is survived by mother, two brothers, and three sisters. A case was registered in Badiyadka police station. Investigation is on.
