Mangalore: ‘JDS Only Clean, Secular Party’ – M B Sadashiva

Mangalore, Aug 24: Dakshina Kannada district president of JDS, M B Sadashiva, accused BJP of governing the state through corrupt means, and looting its resources. “We have taken a vow to build our party as an outfit aimed at driving away corruption. For this purpose, we have been enrolling youngsters in large numbers,” he said.

Sadashiva was speaking on Tuesday August 23, after according a cordial welcome to young entrants like student leader, Mohammed Zanal and several others, into the JDS fold.  He said that JDS is the only secular party in the state, and that the party is moving on the path laid by Jayaprakash Narayan. He predicted bright future for young leaders of the party.

“We have begun organizing of the party at the booth level. After Ramzan, we will organize a mammoth gathering in the city and admit large number of youngsters into the party,” he informed.

JDS state secretary, M G Hegde, speaking on the occasion, said that a former minister in BJP cabinet is already in jail, and Yeddyurappa and his family members are preparing to go behind bars. He called upon people to make concerted efforts to root out BJP from power.

Party leaders, J S Noronha, Mohammed Kunhi Vittal, Abdul Razack, Hyder Partippady, and others were present.

    Though JD-s has been corrupt...we have to agree they played a huge role in removing a worst CM like yeddy...JDS behaved like the primary opposition compared to toothless Congress.
    Deve Gowda was the first person from Karnataka to write to the PM about church attacks.
    JD-S is the only party which has leaders from Hindu, Muslim and Christian denominations in almost equal numbers.
    JDS has many leaders from neglected Brahmin community.
    When HDK was CM, Karnataka witnessed all around growth.
    So based on this, I am not against JDS coming back to power..Even if they are corrupt, they will do at least some development works.

    Joke of the day. In Karnataka all political parties are corrupt. JDS is equally corrupt as that of Congress or BJP. We cannot forget corrupt Appa-Magha jodi of Deve Gowda and Kumaraswamy. God save Karnataka and India from these corrupt scoundrels.

    All Political Parties are clean except the Party Men. Power/Governance corrupts the Mind, Heart and Soul of a person.
    In this juncture we can only say who is less corrupt.
