M'lore: Billawa Association Organizes ‘Belaku’, informative Workshop for Students

Mangalore, Aug 28: Belaku, a workshop for Billawa students pursuing their SSLC and higher level of academic courses was organized by Billawa Association Bangalore here at the Glass House of Kudroli Sri Gokarnanatheshwara temple on Sunday August 28.

The workshop was organized with the aim of providing information to students on various options in IAS and IPS among other courses for career development.

Dr Rathanraj K J of BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore was the resource person on the occasion. Dayanand Poojary, deputy commissioner of Sales Tax Dept. Bangalore presided over the programme. Dr K N Vijay Prakash, CEO of Zilla Panchayath Mangalore, T Vidyadhar, former DGM, HMT, Suresh Salian, DGM of Bharath Co-operative Bank, Veda Kumar, president of the association, among others were present.

As many as 150 students of different colleges were given training on career development.
