Beltangady: Two students of Anugraha School qualify for national level football tournament

Beltangady, Nov 24: In the state level football tournament for under 14 category, organised by the department of school education and literacy, in Bengaluru, Mysuru division has secured first place in which two students of Anugraha english medium high school, Rosa Joy and Deepika V B participated and selected for the national level football tournament.

In the under 17 category, Anushka and Kashvi of standard 9 participated in the state level tournament held in Bengaluru. The winners were felicitated in the school in a programme on November 24. The students who played in the divisional level tournament, Hezal Jisha Pinto, Renisha Quadras and Ananya Rose were also felicitated for their outstanding achievement.

The correspondent Fr James D'Souza, the principal Fr Vijay Lobo, Antony Fernandes, vice president of the PPC, the management committee, staff and students congratulated the students for their laudable performance. They were trained by Vasanth Hegde and Nischith, the physical education teachers of the school.
