Mangaluru: St Agnes CBSE School commemorates Samvidhan Divas

Mangaluru, Nov 29: The adoption of Constitution of India or rightfully called the ‘National Law Day’ was recognised in St Agnes School CBSE on November 27 with an august gathering of students and teachers with great fervour.

It commenced with a devotional prayer song with a rhythmic welcome by the students. The magnitude of the programme was showcased with a mock parliament by depicting the significance of the day.

 

Sr Edna Furtado AC, the chief guest for the day shared her insightful message on the very purpose of the day and the contribution laid down by the freedom fighters to the very success of the formation of the constitution. She urged the students to educate themselves about the Constitution of India.

Amruth Mariet Sequeira and Syed Mariyam of grade VI compered the programme. Reishan Maria Fernandes of grade VI welcomed the gathering and Aradhya H. Poojary of grade VI proposed the vote of thanks expressing gratitude to all for their delightful presence and participation in the success of the event. The programme ended with giving reverence through the national anthem.
