Seeds Take a Beating in ITF Junior Tennis


Chennai, Sep 6 (IANS): While the lesser seeds crashed out, top ranked Indians Shaikh Abdullah and Rutuja Bhosale safely made it to the third round of the Servo ITF Junior tennis tournament here on Tuesday.

Yash Deshpande, at five, was the highest seed to exit as he went down to fellow Indian Nagal Sumit 2-6, 2-6. Also shown the door was seventh seeded Rithvik Anand, who lost in straight sets to Shashank Nautiyal.
