Mangalore: Company Alleges Fraud of Rs 35 lac by Employee

Mangalore, Sep 12: Paravol Eectrical Engineering Company functioning from Light Hill Road in the city has filed a police complaint against its accountant. Bhaskar G, managing director of the concern, has alleged in the complaint that Kusukakar, residing near KPT in the city, who works as an accountant of the firm, has defrauded the company to the tune of around Rs 35 lac by forging the signature of the company’s managing director.

Based on the complaint, the policemen arrested Kusukar on Sunday September 11. It is learnt that Kusumakar has been working for the company since the last over five years.

The company has been executing electrical wiring work on contract basis.  In the said complaint filed on Saturday, Bhaskar G has alleged that the accountant has inflicted losses on the company to the tune of Rs 35 lac by forging the signatures of the company managing director for various vouchers during different periods.

The policemen have been questioning Kusumakar now on the allegations levelled against him. Investigation is in progress.
