Bangalore, Sep 12: Justice Vikramjit Sen was sworn in as the senior-most judge of Karntaka High Court on Monday.
The outgoing Chief Justice of the High Court, Justice J S Khehar, who has been elevated as the Supreme Court judge, administered the oath of office to the new judge.

The 61-year-old Justice Sen, who was born on December 31, 1950, has practised in all courts in Delhi and has handled civil, arbitration and commercial disputes and has a special interest in minority rights.
Justice Sen was appointed Additional Judge of the Delhi High Court on July 7, 1999 and became a permanent judge on October 30, 2000.
Later, Justice Kehar was accorded a warm farewell by the Bar Council on his elevation as a judge of the Supreme Court.
Justice Khehar became the Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court in August 2010.
