Mangalore: SCDCC Bank Bags 'Apex Bank Award' for 13th Consecutive Year

South Canara District Central Co-operative (SCDCC) Bank bagged the ‘State Co-operative Apex Bank Award’ for the 13th consecutive year, for its overall efficiency in managing the business.
 
SCDCC Bank also rated ‘A’ in auditing for the year 2009–10. The Bank has been bagging the award since M N Rajendra Kumar took over the chairmanship of the Bank in 1998.
 
The award was presented to Rajendra Kumar during the annual general body meeting of Apex Bank in Bangalore on Saturday September 10 by Apex Bank chairman R M Manjunath Gowda.
 
Apex Bank deputy chairman Chokkabasavana Gowda, directors Gurupadappa Nagamarapalli, Patel Shivaram and Shivananand S Patil, managing director K H Ashwat Narayan Gowda, chief general manager K S Ninge Gowda, SCDCC Bank former CEO P Narayan Kamath, and deputy general manager Laxman Kumar Mallur were present on the occasion.
