Beltangady: TP President Mamata Gatti Emphasizes Need for Organic Farming

Beltangady, Sep 14: “If additional emphasis is laid on organic farming, the ill-effects on people’s lives can be lessened,” said TP president Mamata Gatti.
 
She was speaking at the valedictory function of the 13-day integral training in horticulture which was held at Rural Development and Self Employment Training (RUDSET) Institute, Ujire, on Tuesday September 13. 
 

Taluk Rubber Planters’ and Marketing Co-operative Society president Sridar Bhide said that the organization has been trying to provide scientific value to the agricultural produce. Canara Bank retired general manager Narasa Reddy presided over the programme.
 
RUDSET Institute lecturer James Abraham welcomed the gathering and lecturer Anusuya compered the programme.
