Mangalore: Special Police Forest Mobile Squad Seizes 13 Wild Parrots

Mangalore, Sep 15: The city’s special police forest mobile squad led by sub-inspector K R Manjunath seized 13 wild parrots from a man near Mahalingeshwar temple, Kavoor, here on Wednesday September 14. Deepak, who was in possession of the parrots was arrested.

The raid was conducted under the direction of IGP Narayan Gowda and police commissioner forest squad of Madikeri A R Aquaker, by Manjunath, along with police personnel Umesh Hosalike, Sitaram K, Narayan, Honnappa Gowda, Basheer, Ramachandra, and jeep driver Harish.

Deepak was handed over to the custody of Kavoor police.
