Beltangady, Sep 17: State minister for medical education, S A Ramdas, said that the government is contemplating the issue of setting up of a university exclusively for Ayurveda, Yoga, and Natutopathy methods of healing. He was speaking after handing over certificates to the students at the 18th convocation of SDM College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, Ujire near here on Friday September 16.

“Within a next few months, mobile hospitals with facilities to provide allopathic, Ayurveda and naturopathy systems of treatment will be set up in all the districts. On behalf of the college, the minister felicitated Dr D Veerendra Heggade, who has won Sir M Vishweshwaraya Award. Dr Heggade honoured the minister.
