Mangalore, Sep 20: A bike rider died after colliding with a bus near Kanachur Mill in Kallapu near Ullal on Monday September 19. The deceased bike rider has been identified as Sachin Shetty (27), an entrepreneur from Kotekar. Sachin, who was a bachelor, is survived by parents and siblings.
Tragically, the bus which collided with the motor bike belongs to his family. Sachin, son of bus operator, Shekhar Shetty from Kotekar, used to run a hardware shop owned by his father at Kotekar.
The city bus bearing route No. 51 operates between Konaje and Kottara in the city. The bus hit Sachin, who was moving wards Kotekar in his motor bike, killing him instantly.
