Mangalore: Passenger with Fake Passport Held

Mangalore, Sep 21: The policemen of Bajpe police station arrested a person from the local airport on Tuesday September 20, on charges of travelling with the help of fake passport. He has been identified as Ahmed Monu from Kunjattur in Kasargod.

Monu had arrived by a flight from Abu Dhabi on Tuesday morning. The officials developed suspicion and questioned him, whereupon he confessed that he had travelled by a passport that stood in the name of Ahmed Karim Moosa. He said his passport has been lost.

The policemen were told that he created a fake passport through a person named Abdul Khader from Bangalore during his last visit. After he was produced in the court, he was remanded to judicial custody.
