Udupi, Oct 5: Misban, who was arrested by the policemen in connection with the suicide of promising national level athlete, Prathvi, who was a student of SMS PU College in Brahmavar in the taluk, succeeded in securing conditional bail from the court.
The police had said that Misban had been stalking Prathvi and trying to contact her in spite of her efforts to distance herself from him. He was arrested on September 29, and produced in the court. On October 4, the district and sessions court here granted him conditional bail.
Advocate, Ravikiran Murdeshwar, had placed his arguments in the court on behalf of the accused, in favour of granting bail.
