Moodbidri: Workshop on Theater Make-up Begins at Alva’s Education Foundation

Moodbidri, Oct 6: Dr Mohan Alva, chairman, Alva’s Education Foundation, inaugurated the three-day workshop on make-up for theater artistes on Wednesday October 5, in a unique manner by donning the attire of a 90-year-old.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Alva said that make-up is an art that has the capability to change the person altogether.

Purushottam Talawata, make-up professional, said that persistence and higher training as a professional make-up artiste makes one accomplished over the years.

Alva’s Education Foundation administrator Smita P Aithal, principal Professor Kurian, and Alva’s College stage director Jeevan Ram Sulia were also present. The workshop will be held from Wednesday October 5 to Friday October 7 between 2.30 pm and 8.00 pm at Theater Study Centre, Vidhyagiri, here.  It’s open for students and the general public.
