Bantwal: Former Union Minister Janardhan Poojary Inaugurates Community Building

Bantwal, Oct 8: “Power will not be forever, but good deeds that are done will remain forever,” said former union minister B Janardhan Poojary.
He was speaking at the inaugural of the community building constructed at Goodinabali, in B Mooda village at a cost of Rs 62 lac by Goodinabali Hayatul Islam Sangha ® and the state backward and minority department on Friday October 7.

“Retired teacher G M Mohammed has realized the long pending demand of people residing at Goodinabali,” added Poojary.


 

State minority commission chairman Anwar Manippady said that the department has been constructing community buildings in order to strengthen communal harmony.

Coastal Development Authority chairman Nagaraj Shetty conveyed best wishes. MLA B Ramanat Rai presided over the programme.

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, BJP Dakshina Kannada district president Padmanabha Kottari, Waqf Board district president Usman Haji, town councilor Dinesh Bhandary, town development Authority president Govind Prabhu, Riyaz Bantwal, Harikrishna Bantwal, ZP former member Sadanand Malli, District Congress Committee vice-president B H Khader, and Sudhakar Chikkayamata were the chief guests on the occasion.

Muttalib Juma masjid president G Mohammed, Hayatul Islam Sangh chairman Yousuf Haji, secretary Abdul Rashid, Gulf Association president Abdul Karim, and Hayatul Islam Madrasa correspondent Ubaidulla were present on the dais.

B M Mohammed Haji Master, G K Abdul Khader, and Asif K were felicitated for their efforts in constructing community building.

Sadar Muhallim Samsuddin Zahari recited the verse from the Holy Scripture.

Iqbal Goodinabali welcomed the gathering.  P A Rahim delivered the introductory talk.  Journalist Farouq Goodinabali proposed vote of thanks.  The teacher Ramachandra Rao conducted the programme.

    This is a very rare occasion wherein dais shared by Ramanath Rai,Nagaraja Shetty,Nalin Kumar and Janardhana Poojary.
    Usually Janardhana Poojary is not seen in smiling phose,here he smiles.Great indeed!!!
