Udupi, Oct 9: A woman named Reena (47) who was living at PPC Nagar here was found hanging in her flat on Friday October 7. Though at first look it seemed like suicide, Reena’s younger sister’s husband Devraj Fernandes suspected foul play in the incidence and expressed the same in a complaint registered to the police.
The reason for Devraj to doubt that it must have been a murder was because there was a wound in Reena’s right hand and on her forehead. The blood clot in her neck too was evident.
Even blood stains were seen on the wall and floor of the room where Reena’s body was found hanging. All these clues make it obvious that Reena’s death may not be a suicide like it is made out to be. Devraj has urged the police to investigate the case thoroughly and find out the truth.
