Bangalore Girl Aspiring to Become Nun Ends Life in Kerala

Aroor (Kerala)/Bangalore, Oct 11 (PTI): A 16-year-old girl from Bangalore who was aspiring to become a nun allegedly committed suicide at a convent here.

Police said the body of Maria Rosi Lin, a class XI student, was found hanging from the frame of the roofing sheet on the convent terrace yesterday.

She was an inmate of the convent here in Alapzuha district since the past one-and-half years.

Police, who have ruled out any foul play, said the girl's father had been injured in a road mishap three days ago in Bangalore and she was in a disturbed state since then.
