Udupi: K Vasudev Rao Elected New President of Photographers' Association

Udupi, Oct 13: K Vasudev Rao, youth leader, was unanimously elected new president of South Kanara Photographers’ Association for the term 2011–13. Naveen Rai Puttur was elected as chief secretary.

Damodar Acharya Mangalore and Ganesh Kundapur (vice-presidents), Janardhan Kodavoor and Anand Mudipu (joint secretaries), Jagannat Shetty Mangalore (treasurer), Harshakar Mangalore and Prasanna Perdoor (public relations officers), Sukumar Bantwal and Madhu Mangalore (sports secretaries), Satish Bantwal, Pratish Brahmavar Shekar Karkala (media representatives), were elected as office-bearers.

Former president Karunakar Kanangi conducted the proceedings of the election.

Association former president Shivaram Kadaba, advisory committee president Vittal Chowta, Gopal Sullia, and Jagdish Jain were present on the occasion.
