Srinivas College to hold conference on 'Innovative Practices in Clinical Training & Patient Safety'

Mangaluru, May 13: Srinivas College of Pharmacy Mangaluru in association with Indian Pharmaceutical Association, D K district local branch, will be organizing 6th national conference on 'Innovative Practices in Clinical Training & Patient Safety' at Valachil campus, on May 17-18.

Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, president, A Shama Rao Foundation, chancellor, Srinivas University, will preside over the inaugural function on May 17.

Dr T V Narayana, national president, Indian Pharmaceutical Association, Mumbai & Member of DTAB Min of H&F W, Govt of India will be the chief guest.

Other guests of honour include Dr A Srinivas Rao, vice president, A Shama Rao Foundation, pro-chancellor, Srinivas University, Mangaluru T P Sujith, deputy drugs controller, government of Karnataka, Mangaluru, Dr Ajit Singh, founder and CEO at Curio and Cli Med Research Solutions, ICMR research scientist, Kasturba Medical College, MAHE Manipal, Udupi, A Vijayalakshmi R Rao, trustee member, board of governors, Srinivas University & director, Srinivas Group of Colleges, Mangaluru, Prof  A Mitra S Rao trustee member, board of governors, Srinivas University & secretary, A Shama Rao Foundation, Mangaluru. Dr Grace Mary John, infectious diseases clinical specialist & chief clinical pharmacist, Believers Church Medical College Hospital, Thiruvalla, Kerala.

Eminent speakers in the plenary session, Dr Ajit Singh, Dr Grace Mary John, Dr Mithun S, and Abhishek N, are expected to deliberate in the proceedings.

Dr A R Shabaraya principal and Director, Srinivas College of Pharmacy, Valachil, Mangaluru, president, IPA, local branch, Mangaluru, convener and organizing secretary of the conference have detailed the schedule. Delegates are expected to present original research scientific papers in oral /poster sessions of the conference.
