Mangalore, Oct 16: An awareness programme for accident prevention and traffic rules -‘Lions Accident Prevention Campaign’ was organized by Ln Agnel Rodrigues in association with Bharath Auto Cars Pvt Ltd here in Bejai on Sunday October 16.

Speaking on the occasion, A Sadananda Shetty chairman, Shree Devi Education Trust lauded the efforts of organizes and said that it was very much needed as many accidents these days occur due to the negligence and lack of awareness.

DCP Dharmaiah inaugurated the campaign in a unique manner by unveiling the damaged car. Mayor Praveen released the Traffic Rules Hand Bills on the occasion.
 
KPCC secretary Ivan D’Souza, MCC Mayor Praveen, Ln  P Kishore Rao, governor, District 324-D5, Ln Agnel Rodrigues, DCP Muthuraya, Keshav Dharani, Senior Inspector of R.T.O among others were present.
 
The damaged car was displayed at the open space opposite Bejai Church with banners to create awareness among the public. A Sadananda Shetty and Keshav Dharani  released the Ad Video Compact Disc. The welcome address and the vote of thanks was delivered by Ln Agnel Rodrigues, the co-ordinator of accident prevention and traffic rules campaign.
