Praveen Chandra Alva Elected Youth Cong President of Mangalore South Constituency

Mangalore, Oct 18:
For the first time in the history of Dakshina Kannada Vidhana Sabha constituency, president of the youth Congress unit was chosen through election process this time. Praveen Chandra Alva has been elected as the new youth Congress president of the south constituency along with other three members who were elected as office bearers.
 
Among 1800 members of Mangalore South Vidhana Sabha Constituency, 179 booth level office bearers were elected in the election held recently.


 

Praveen Chandra Alva has served as the block president of Mangalore South Youth Congress, vice president of All college student union, district vice-president of bus employee union and secretary of Bunt’s Sangha Jeppina Mugeru among other unions.
 
Corporate minister Virappa Moily, Rajya Sabha member Oscar Fernandes, former minister Janardhan Poojary, AICC secretary Vinay Kumar Sorake, district congress president Ramanath Rai, KPCC secretary Ivan D’Souza, among others wished him.
