Kasargod, Oct 19: Four miscreants have been arrested for pelting stones on district office of Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) on Tuesday October 18 night.
The arrested have identified as T A Abdurehamman (26) of Thekkemoole, BC road, T A Safarulla (23), Mohammed Rafi (21) and K E Ismail of Erdunkada.
DYFI office located in Vidyanagara of Kasargod was targeted by the group which appeared in a car at around 9 pm last night. Glasses of window panes were broken. The same group had also removed a board placed during the convention of CPM.
Kasargod police station circle inspector Babu Peringayath and Vidyanagar SI Premdasan gathered information about the incident from the local people and instigated their operation. On Wednesday morning they traced the group near Erdunkada and arrested them.
A santro car has been seized from the arrested.
