Mangalore: Punjabi Food Festival at The Gate Way Hotel

Mangalore, Oct 20: Twelve days of delightful, robust and colourful spirit of hinterlands of Punjab will now be felt in Mangalore, with the opening of Punjabi food festival at Cardamom, Hotel Gate Way on Wednesday October 19. The festival will go on till October 30.

The concept of this special food festival is about celebrating everything that’s strikingly reminiscent of Punjabi culture from a healthy spread of the chicest Punjabi food to snapshots of rural Punjab.
 
The course starts with a welcome drink like lassi and goes on to explore more with salads, soups, kababs, curries, live tadka dal trolly and tadka counter complete with dhol wala, bhangra dancers etc.
 
Peter Nirmal, general manager, Shailesh Varmam, executive chef, T K Joy, food and beverage manager, Sumanth Shetty, assistant manager sales among others were present.
