Kerala Chief Minister's Home Stoned

Kottayam (Kerala), Oct 21 (IANS): Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy's home at Puthupally near here was stoned by unidentified assailants late Thursday night.

Chandy's office in Thiruvananthapuram told IANS that a car belonging to the chief minister's brother was damaged. "The police have already begun an investigation into the incident and the chief minister has left it to the police to do their job," his office said.

Chandy has been representing the Puthupally assembly constituency since 1970 and has won every election since then.
