Kundapur, Oct 22: Three persons, who were fighting among themselves in a moving train, fell down by the side of railway tracks at Khambadakone near Byndoor railway station on Friday October 21.

The family comprised of a father and his two sons. The three had begun their journey from Davangere. After differences arose between father and his two sons on some issue, they fought with each other, before being thrown off the train to the ground. One of the sons died on the spot, while his father and brother were admitted into a hospital here with serious injuries.

Some rickshaw drivers, who saw them, brought them here and admitted into the government hospital here. The youth was shifted to Manipal Hospital for advanced treatment after first aid, as his injuries are of grave nature. The father, who is being treated at the hospital here, is unable to provide details as his speech is incoherent.

Byndoor police have registered a case. They are trying to ascertain the details of the deceased and injured persons.
