Mangalore, Oct 26: Rajnarayan (31) from Bihar, working as labourer for OMPL (ONGC-MRPL) under progress in the first phase of Mangalore Special Economic Zone (MSEZ) near Permude here, lost his life on Monday October 24 evening, after coming under a concrete mixer vehicle.
The labourer got caught under the concrete mixer that was moving backwards, and was crushed. He was in a critical condition, when he was rushed to A J Hospital in the city. He was treated there, but doctors could not save his life. He breathed his last on Monday night.
It is learnt that Rajnarayan was working for GDC, a company that is allotted work under OMPL.
