Mangalore: 'Namma Naadu Awards' Ceremony to be Held on Oct 30

Mangalore, Oct 27:
‘Namma Naadu’, a TV news channel of Namma Ad Media which has been operating at Glen View Apartments in Kankanady will be organizing its fifth anniversary celebration at Town Hall here on Sunday October 30 at 10 am.
 
District in charge minister Krishna J Palemar will inaugurate the programme. Vardhamana Durgaprasad Shetty of Gurupura Golidadigutthu will preside.

Among ‘Namma Nadu’ awards, entrepreneur Dr Dayanand Pai will receive ‘Best Kannadiga’ award. Mumbai based entrepreneur Suresh R Kanchan will receive ‘Best Non Resident Kannadiga’ Award, K Chittharanjan, Kankanady Garadi Kshetra will receive award for his contribution in religious field. Vivekraj, CEO of Panama Group will receive Successful entrepreneur award. Vijaynath Vittal Shetty will receive for his contribution in Rural Sport activities.
 
‘Kala Kambula’ a tulu comedy drama by Chaparka troupe will be staged thereafter.

MP Nalin Kumar, DK ZP president Shailaja K T Bhat, MLA U T Khader, Entrepreneur B M Farooq, KPCC secretary Ivan D’Souza, Dakshina Kannada Working Journalists’ Union president P B Harish Rai, Namma Nadu producer Devadas Shetty Thuppekallu will be present on the occasion.
