Bantwal, Jul 5: The beneficiaries of Sevanjali Trust joining hands with Krishna Kumar Poonja has enabled the NGO to reach more people, said Mamtaz H T, Child Development Project officer. She was speaking as the chief guest at the food and provisions kit distribution programme for tuberculosis patients organized by Sevanjali Trust, Farangipete, under the central government's Nikshay Mitra scheme as part of the TB-Free India campaign.

Mamataz H T praised Krishna Kumar Poonja, comparing his work to earthworms enriching the soil, stating that his efforts to alleviate the suffering of the distressed in society are commendable. Retired headmaster Mahabaleshwar Hebbar noted that Sevanjali's response to the Prime Minister's call for a TB-Free India is now bearing fruit, highlighting Poonja's lifelong dedication to service, even in his retirement.

Krishna Kumar Poonja welcomed the gathering and outlined the program's objectives. Dr Chetan from Sevanjali Health Center provided health information. Arakula Beedu Vajranabha Shetty, president of Sevanjali Trust, presided over the event. Also present on the stage were Sujata, supervisor from the Department of Women and Child Welfare, and Umesh Kolambe.

Prominent attendees included Padmanabha Shetty Punchame, Padmanabha Kidebettu, Narayana Baddur, Prashanth Tumbe, Krishna Tuppekallu, Suresh Rai Pelpadi, Uma Chandrashekhar, Saramma, and Madhuraj. Sukesh Shetty Tevu proposed a vote of thanks, and Taranath Kottari Tevu conducted the event.
