Puttur, Oct 30: A school boy has committed suicide by hanging himself in his hostel room at Savanoor here on late Friday October 28.
The deceased is Charan K S (14) who is a son of Somashekar, hailing from Mandya district.
Charan was a 8th std student of Vidyarashmi Vidyalala, Savanoor. Before committing suicide Charan had written a letter to his sister Vamshika saying that he wished to be a bike rider and that’s the reason he was not able to concentrate in his studies. He also mentioned in the letter that he did not even taste the sweets given to him by his father during the Deepavali vacations when he had gone home.
A case has been registered by the Kadaba police.
