Bangalore: KONCAB Annual Cultural Competitions 'Kalanjali 2011' Held

Bangalore, Oct 31: 'Kalanjali 2011', annual cultural competitions of Konkani Catholic Association Bangalore (KONCAB) was held on Sunday October 30 at St Germans Golden Jubilee Hall, here.

Kalanjali is a one day KONCAB initiative which is held every year to support Konkani talents by bringing all Mangalorean Konkani people  and different Konkani associations together.

The inauguration was done by president - Anup Saldanha, secretary-Jhonas D'souza, Arun Fernandis and Sevrine D'Silva. Totally  12 Konkani Associations across Bangalore actively participated in Konkani singing, comedy skit, fancy dress and dance competitions.

The competitions were held in 12 different categories. The event was anchored by Arun Fernandis, Sladan d'silva and Wilma Norhona.

    Wonderful time at the KONCAB Cultural Fest. It would be well appreciated if daijiworld could upload more pics of the event to reach people far & near!
