Mangalore, Oct 31: To commemorate Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore’s 150th birth anniversary, Mandd Sobahnn’s Kalaakul Theater repertory will be presenting the Konkani Play “Eksuri Baail (lonely wife)” based on Tagore’s Novel “Nastanirh” on Sunday, November 6 , at 6pm in Kalaangann, here.
The play will follow the “Kalaakaar Puroskaar” ceremony.
Arun Raj Rodrigues has written this play in Konkani while Neenasam theater graduate Christopher D’Souza has directed it.
The Central Government’s Culture Department is celebrating the poet’s 150th birth anniversary throughout India.
