Bhatkal, Oct 31: Tight security arrangements are made to receive BJP leader L K Advani in the Bhatkal taluk.
According to the sources L K Advani will arrive at Murudeshwar via Bhatkal on October 31 night at 8 pm.
Five DYSPs, 17 circle inspectors, 147 PSIs were in charge for welcoming him.
In addition to the police force in place, a commando team and bomb squad is also appointed to make sure smooth proceeding of the yatra.
Chikmagalur and Karwar SPs have instructed all police officers gathered here at Bhatkal police ground to be vigilant and assure security in Murudeshwar.
The police have also ordered to stop boating, playing and other activities during advani's yatra.
