Bantwal: Private Bus Runs Over Pedestrian

Bantwal, Nov 1: A pedestrian was critically wounded when a private bus run over him at Farangipet on the Mangalore-Bangalore national highway on Monday October 31.
 
The critically injured man has been identified as 34-year-old Abubakker, a resident of Ammemar, near here, who was hit by a private bus plying from Puttur to Mangalore. Abubakker was taken to a private hospital in Mangalore.
 
Bantwal rural police arrested the driver of the private bus and registered a complaint in this regard.
