Kasargod, Nov 1: Nagesh Bangad (50), a native of Battattor Periyatadka in the district, lost his life in a road accident in Dubai. He was the son of the late B Mahalinga and Kalama couple.
As per the information received by his family members here, he was seriously injured while crossing a road in Dubai on October 22. He was admitted into a hospital, and his death came on October 30.
Nagesh was working as supervisor of a construction company in Dubai since the last 18 years. He had recently built a house for himself at Kallianpur near Udupi. House warming ceremony of this house was conducted last year. He was to visit his home town in December this year.
