Beltangady, Nov 6: Uttara Kannada district’s Mundgod taluk Nandibettu gram panchayat’s vice president Ajjakka (41) who had come to Dharmasthala here has been missing since Friday November 4 night.

It is suspected that she must have been kidnapped.

A notice of no-confidence against sitting president of Nandighatta GP B N Kottamani was served by opposition members. In this backdrop, a group of members had arrived in Dharmasthala. Now it has been alleged that a rival group also arrived here and abducted Ajjakka. Only time will reveal the truth.
