Bangalore: Kannada Rajyotsava Celebrated at St Vincent Pallotti Church, Banasawadi

Bangalore, Nov 6:  The Kannada Cultural Group of St Vincent Pallotti Church, Banasawadi, here celebrated 55th year Kannada Rajyotsava on Tuesday November 1 with much fanfare and gaiety.

The celebrations commenced in the morning with mass in Kannada at 8.00am at the Church. The main celebrant during the Eucharistic celebrations was Fr Ronald Cardoza, who was ably supported by Fr Immanuel, Fr Victor and Fr Rayappa.


After the mass, a cultural programme was held at the parish hall. Fr Ralph and Fr Philip, delivered Kannada Rajyotsava messages to the parishoners. After the welcome song by Kannada choir group, various cultural and linguistic groups of parish, with their lovely performance entertained the people who had gathered. Light refreshment was served after the cultural programme was concluded.
 
St Vincent Pallotti parish has been celebrating Kannada Rajyotsava year after year, without fail and the parish priest has been the prime mover behind these celebrations every year.

    Congratulations! St. Vincent Pallotti Church Bansawadi has been celebrating Kannada Rajyotsava every year and probably one of the few churches in Karnataka doing so. My sincere thanks to Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Ralph for his support & guidance. And also to all those people who helped in making this show a grand success. Cheers!
