Puttur: Daijiworld's Mounesh Vishwakarma Bags UNICEF, KCRO Fellowship

Daijiworld Media Network - Puttur (RD/CN)

Puttur, Nov 6: Daijiworld reporter Mounesh Vishwakarma has been chosen for a media fellowship by UNICEF and Karnataka Child Rights Organization (KPRO) this year.

He is one of seven reporters in the state who, for the first time, have been selected by UNICEF and KPRO for their active role in creating general awareness about children’s rights.

His occasional articles on human rights over the past eight months qualified him for the fellowship.  Accordingly, UNICEF and KCRO will support him financially to undertake study tours to prepare a report on children’s rights for the coming six months.

Mounesh has created skits on child rights as he is actively involved in theater, staged street plays, and conducted training camps to create awareness.
