Beltangady: Man on Holy Pilgrimage Dies at Mecca

Beltangady, Nov 7: Haji Abdulla Onittaru, resident of Kokkada Malligemajalu in the taluk, died on November 3 at Mecca. Abdulla had left for the holy pilgrimage on October 14. He was returning after completing the pilgrimage, when his end came, due to health complications.

It is learnt that after offering prayers, he suffered heart-related problems. He was admitted to a local hospital by Hanif, Abdulla and Hamza, who were with him at the time. He breathed his last, without responding to treatments there.

His funeral was conducted at Mecca. Abdulla, a member of Kokkada Jamaat, has left behind wife, two sons, and five daughters.
