Mangalore, Nov 22: Melita Jean Pinto, a young multi-faceted achiever, was conferred the Kala Ratna Award, as 'The Most Talented Personality', by the Mangalore Musical and Cultural Association (MMCA) at Gitanjali recently.
Melita is the daughter of Joel and Matilda Pinto (Balmatta Medicals). An electronics and communication engineer by profession, she is also a national gold medalist in swimming.
She is also former Miss Daijiworld, Miss Konkani Universe, Winner of RANK Award, a very well-known, versatile compere, TV anchor, actress and dancer.
