Chikmagalur: Kalasa Parish Celebrates Annual Feast

Chikmagalur, Nov 23: The annual feast of Jagadishwar Devalaya, Kalasa parish, Mudigere here was held with religious fervor on Monday November 21.
 
Bishop Dr Anthonyswamy of Chikmagalur diocese presided over the festal Eucharistic Celebration along with Kalasa parish priest Fr Marcel Pinto and nearly 20 clergies who had arrived from across the diocese.

The liturgical service was held in Kannada while the Konkani choir group presented melodious singing during the festal Holy Mass.
 
Bishop Anthonyswamy felicitated Rudolph Saldanha and family of Babsal Estate, the main donors of the newly-built bell tower of Kalasa parish.
 
About 1,000 faithful were present through the festal celebration that concluded with sumptuous Mangalorean food.
