Bantwal, Nov 24: The handbill of Drusti – Srusti, Rani Abbakka’s life based national level arts camp and inaugural of Rani Abbakka Art Gallery, which will be held at the aegis of Rani Abbakka Tulu Study Centre, at Tulu museum campus, Sanchayagiri, B C Road, here from December 24 to December 28 was released at the central auditorium, here on Wednesday November 23.

The veteran Dr Karunakar Shetty released the handbill here on Wednesday evening.

The reception Committee president A C Bhandary presided over the programme.

The national level painting camp will create milestone.  The artistes of state and national caliber will paint Abbakka Rani’s achievement from her birth to demise in 5 days.  The seminar on Abbakka Rani will be held on evenings, besides cultural programmes, said A C Bhandary.

The study Centre president Professor Tukaram Poojary said that 24 artistes from Karnataka and other states will participate in the five-day painting camp.  Each artiste will paint a large sized painting.  The preparations are underway by reception Committee.  Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade and other dignitaries will participate in the programme, said A C Bhandary.

The reception Commission vice president Sudarshan Jain, secretaries B Tammayya and D M Kulal, the Centre secretary Professor Ashalata Suvarna and others were present at the press meet.
