Lucknow, Nov 24: Firing a fresh salvo, Congress general secretary, Rahul Gandhi alleged that ruling Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) was representing only 10 percent of the state's population which is the cadre of BSP. Rahul addressed a series of meeting as part of his ongoing campaign in the eastern region of UP.

"Ideally the government should cater to 100 percent of the populace but it is concerned with only 10 percent of the population which is their cadre. You all are taking it silently and there is no sign of any reaction. It makes me angry seeing that you never lose your cool at your condition," said Rahul.
Rahul addressed three meetings on Thursday at district Balrampur around 250 km from Lucknow.
As expected Rahul did not mention any 'beggar' remark in his speech which has invited sharp reaction from the opposition parties of the state.
Rahul lashed out at both, Mayawati and Mulayam for ignoring poor people's cause. "Mayawati lives in luxuries and does not have any concern for the poor people. She hardly reached out to them and interacts with the masses. For Mulayam, everyone is aware about the anarchy and lawlessness which was prevalent during the previous Samajwadi Party (SP) regime," he said.
Rahul also criticised the Shiv Sena in Maharashtra for the harsh treatment given to the UP people when they land there in search of livelihood.
Later, Rahul urged the people to vote for Congress so that the state can be put abck on development track.
