Mangalore, Nov 26: The annual feast of Our Lady of Remedies parish, Kirem, was celebrated here on Wednesday November 23. It was themed ‘Our Lady of Remedy; way for spirituality’.
Fr Joseph Martis, rector of St Joseph’s Seminary, was the main celebrant of the festal Holy Mass offered on Wednesday morning. The clergy from Kinnigoli deanery and neighbouring parishes participated in the Eucharistic celebration.
Kirem parish priest Fr Paul Pinto thanked the parishioners for their whole-hearted support in organizing the feast.
As per tradition, three Hindu families were honoured after the festal Holy Mass, by offering them bunches of bananas, acknowledging their great help to Christians during the persecution by Tippu.
