Udupi, Nov 26: ‘Aralu Prashasti’ was presented to Kannada litterateur Katyayini Kunjibettu during the Nrapatunga Literary Awards ceremony held at Ravindra Kala Mantap, Bangalore, by Kannada Sahitya Parishat and BMTC. She bagged the honour for her book ‘Mooru Natakagalu’.
State minister R Ashok presented ‘Aralu Prashati’ and a cash award of Rs 10,000 to Katyayini Kunjibettu on the occasion.
Nrapatunga Award recipient Dr M M Kalaburgi, Kannada Sahitya Parishat president Nallur Prasad, Kannada and culture department commissioner Manu Baligar, BMTC managing director Srinivas K R, and researcher Taltaje Vasant Kumar were present on the occasion.
