Mangalore, Nov 30: 92.7 Big FM, Mangalore has undertaken an initiative to commemorate ‘World AIDS Day’ on December 1, it is an opportunity for people to globally unite to give a hard fight against HIV.

RJ Varsha of 92.7 Big FM, Mangalore will be hosting ‘Rj Marathon’ on 92.7 Big FM between 9 am to 7 pm on December 1.

92.7 Big FM is India’s Biggest FM Radio station Network has three radio stations in Karnataka in Bangalore and Mysore and Mangalore.

92.7 Big FM Mangalore has been zestful and enthusiastic in organizing events that are entertaining as well as informative.

Listeners can expect resource persons like doctors to give scientific facts about AIDS. This will be an opportunity to know more the killer desease and acquire awareness regarding HIV.

Celebrities and VIPs will be on air to express their views on AIDS. It is going to be an attempt to remind public, government and everyone that AIDS has not died yet, it is still there to be fought through scientific, social and economic assistance to those who cannot afford it.

World AIDS Day is an expression of support to HIV positive people and a day to commemorate those who have lost their lives suffering from aids.

There are 33.3 million people who are tested positive for Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) that causes Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). Since 1981, more than 25 million people have lost their life suffering from aids. This has made Aids most destructive Pandemics in history.
